Return and Exchange Policy – Gemshines

At Gemshines, we are committed to providing a straightforward and transparent return and exchange process. Our policy is designed to ensure that your shopping experience is as smooth as possible.

Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges

To be eligible for a return or exchange, please adhere to the following conditions:

• Condition of Items: Items must be in their original, unused condition.
• Inspection: All returns and exchanges are subject to inspection by the Gemshines team.
• Exclusions: Damage caused by neglect or improper use is not covered under our policy.
• Required Documentation: Products should be accompanied by the original Product Certificate, original or copy of the invoice, packaging, documentation, lab certificates, discount coupons, etc.

Return Policy on Loose Gemstones

For loose gemstones, you may return the item within 7 days for a full refund of the purchase price, provided the above conditions are met. Please note that shipping charges, certification fees, VAT, and duties are non-refundable.

Return Policy on Gemstone Jewelry

Custom jewelry items (such as rings, pendants, bracelets, etc.) cannot be returned for a monetary refund. However, you may request a return within 7 days of delivery for store credit worth 75% of your invoice value, which can be used for future purchases.

Cancellation Policy

• Jewelry Orders: If you cancel your jewelry order, Gemshines will deduct 25% of the total purchase price to cover making charges.
• Paid Certification: If you cancel after opting for paid certification, the certification cost will be deducted.

Important Notes

• Non-Refundable Charges: Shipping charges, VAT, and duties are not refundable.
• Return Shipping: The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
• Payment Gateway Fees: Payment gateway charges, if applicable, are non-refundable as they are billed directly by the payment gateway.
• Additional Lab Certificates: Any additional lab certificates ordered, other than the free one provided with the gemstone, are not refundable.
• Processing Time: Returns will be processed within 7-10 business days from the date we receive the product. Please note that credit card companies or banks may take an additional week to reflect the refund in your account.

Dispute Resolution

• Product Guarantees: Gemshines does not guarantee the effectiveness or results of our products. Any results or lack thereof are personal and not part of the transaction as outlined in the invoice.
• Gemstone Authenticity: In case of disputes regarding the authenticity of a gemstone, it will be tested by a Government-approved and accredited laboratory (such as IGI or IGI-GTL). The laboratory’s report will be considered final, and customers cannot dispute this report or request testing from another laboratory.
• Jurisdiction and Arbitration: All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi. Any disputes related to the sale of materials or gems will be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996, with an arbitrator appointed by Gemshines. The decision of the arbitrator will be final and binding.
